Is social networking good or bad and my opinion on it.
I do not use social networking such as Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin as much as many other people do. Some people may use social networking from 10 minutes to 6 hours in JUST ONE DAY. Isn't that crazy? There are a large number of adults and children who have become addicted to social networking. because of the chatting capabilities, games and gossip.
Some of the benefits of social networking are being able to talk to other people and meet new people from places that you have never been before. Also, people may talk on them to friends and it is always very fast to connect with each other because everybody is on the same platform. I have a few friends from around the world that I have met on vacations that I still talk to from time to time because of social networking. I can not text or call them because it would be horribly expensive.

) and they were pretty shocking. Here is what I found. People can connect to your social networking accounts and find out lots of your personal infromation such as your phone number, address, ip address, or date of birth. With that information people can steal your identity, credit cards, bank accounts of even steal money from you. There have been many cases of suicide because of cyber bullying. People can harrass, bully, and stalk you through these sites. Another bad things are people being addicted to social networking. One in fifty people suffer from some kinds of addiction involving video games, social networking and the internet. Don't become one of them.
With all of these points I have to say that I like the social networking websites. All of the bad cases of bullying, suicides, and frauds involving social networks show that social networking sites are fallacious things.On the other hand they can save you money in phone calls, and texting. They also make it very easy for you to find out what your friends are doing. Seeing all of the cons that weigh down on the pros, why is social networking still aloud? Why do they require you to post your personal infromation to even make an account.
My opinion on all of this is that social networking is a good and bad thing but if you are always careful with the things you post and attach to your profile you will be safe.
