Social networking has changed our society. But is it in a positive or negative way? There are different reasons why social networks are good or bad.
Some positive reasons are that it is easier to get a hold of friends/family.In times when they did have Facebook,Twitter the average person couldn't talk to their family from long distance because it would be to expensive.The only thing that people could do was sent letters but who wanted to do that!
Other reasons its beneficial to has social networking sites is that there is an increased chance in making new friend/romantic relationships and there are only so many people in your community and there are 500 million uses of Facebook (in 2011)Im quite sure there is more of a chance of making a friend or finding a romantic relationship.
Some negative things about social networks are one in 50 adults have a type of obsessive compulsive disorter and you could develop an unhealthy relationship to the computer,some people become addicted
to life on the computer!But did you know that it social networks could be life threatening?Reports of people taking there own lives because of gossip and/or online bulling.Social networking also makes work office less productive,The people who are on Facebook most are spending two hours a day at work just on Facebook which cost the company money..
There are a lot of positive reasons about social networking and there is a lot negative reasons too.My opinion of Social Networking is that there aren't bad but they don't have an impact on my life.
